Privacy Policy
This policy describes Glide, the iPhone app for stamping elements on a patch of ice. It was last updated on 2 November 2026.
What stays on the iPhone
Sessions, element names, stamps, steadiness, clips, calls, guards, and the Hollow balance are stored in Glide's folder on the phone. Glide does not upload that folder to a Glide server.
Camera, photos, and microphone
The camera is used only after you tap Film this stamp. The photo library is read only after you tap Choose a clip or Choose a portrait. Saving a clip into Photos happens only after you tap Save this clip. The microphone is used only after you tap Keep a call. If you decline, that action stays unavailable and the stamps already kept remain.
Notifications
After you continue from the welcome, Glide asks the system for notification permission. A reminder titled Look at the patch is scheduled only if you pick a clock time and the system allows notifications.
Purchases
Hollow is sold through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple processes the payment. Glide records a finished transaction so the same purchase is not added twice. Glide does not receive your card number.
